About the role:

The (SFDC) Product Owner will apply his/her thorough understanding of to collaborate with our business functions in the creation of new capabilities in SFDC to further improve sales performance within a fast growing, innovative medical device Sales and Marketing organization. This role will act as a Product Owner supporting the Cardiology Group focused on the Coronary Therapy franchise.


 Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Operations and Finance to identify and define a problem; collect and analyze data pertaining to it; evaluate current processes and procedures; prioritize current business needs; and collaborate to create SFDC solutions to meet these needs
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop a strategy and capability roadmap
  • Establish business value and priority for requirements (rapid engagement, piloting, iteration)
  • Understand the voice of business/users and understand business processes
  • Write and shepherd User Stories through the intake process and work with the IT COE (Center of Excellence) through the production development process
  • Act as the product owner on a scrum team consisting of technical leads, developers, and scrum master. Lead the team in requirements, prioritization, and testing of new features
  • Work with a field team to understand and prioritize the needs of IT and systems
  • Collaborate with site/divisional IT-Business teams to ensure resource support (site level Strat-plan, AOP (Annual Operating Plan), etc.)
  • Perform formal user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate on creation, implementation, and monitoring success metrics
  • Participate with Business Programs Office in global design and use discussions, both project and program level efforts
  • Stay current on new features, functionality, and application capabilities of to address business requirements
  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 user support and escalate/manage unresolved issues
  • Conduct primary research in the field to understand business drivers and uncover business opportunities, to facilitate the planning and execution of SFDC.
  • Provide field sales support of the SFDC system specific to the business unit
  • Train a national field team on new features, data quality, and new integrations
  • Works with cross-functional teams on app integrations with the Salesforce platform that complement the ecosystem

 What we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: BS/BA Business Administration or related field; MBA (Master of Business Administration) preferred
  • 3+ years of business operations improvement experience (areas of IT or sales preferred)
  • 3+ years of or related Customer Relationship Management software experience preferred
  • 2+ Years of Agile Experience (Product Owner Role preferred)
  • Strong data analysis skills: able to collect and analyze business information and draw accurate conclusions
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex business operations challenges
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and develop a business case
  • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work to positively impact business performance
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution
  • Outstanding communications skills, able to communicate with all levels of an organization.  Experience in sales training a plus.
  • Effectively influence change across a national field team
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Communities, Service Cloud)
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
