About the role:

This person will be responsible to independently develop technical approaches to streamline development. Under minimal direction, conceives plans and conducts investigations that substantially influence company strategies or core technologies.  They will be recognized and utilized expert in their field by multiple divisions across BSC, and will promote the company as an industry expert and leader in one or more technologies. 

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. 
  • Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
  • Assists in strategic planning for the company
  • Identifies and Evaluates new methodologies for application to product development.
  • Meets with global thought leaders in their discipline or technology.  Studies and understands relevant published articles and works for application to company projects and initiatives.
  • Leads education efforts and mentoring in their area of expertise for the company
  • Fields requests from R&D teams to make decisions of capability and/or capacity of solution efforts.
  • Performs technical consultative functions and internal company perspective to all divisions within the company.
  • Authors, collaborates, and presents data to the technical community.
  • Maintains compliance to assigned training requirements.
  • Attends Technical Reviews as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering/Technical Field/Statistics, advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in related field
  • Proven experience influencing and leading project teams
  • Experienced teacher of statistical concepts.
  • Strong communication skills
