The Role:

The Tax Analyst, Transfer Pricing is predominantly focused on the preparation activities for the Company’s worldwide transfer pricing compliance.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare income statement models for subsidiaries worldwide on a monthly basis to monitor whether entities are earning an arm’s-length profit in compliance with both US and local country law and calculate and book compensating adjustments where required to ensure entities earn an arm’s-length profit.  Consistently look for opportunities to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare transfer pricing inputs for Tax Forecasting & Analysis Group for purposes of calculating the worldwide effective tax rate calculation on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare intercompany price lists for worldwide subsidiaries on an annual basis. 
  • Respond to requests for maintenance of intercompany prices during the year.
  • Support the preparation of the 6662 U.S. Transfer Pricing Documentation and Masterfile, and local country transfer pricing studies.
  • Support the preparation of responses to audit questions raised by both the IRS and local country taxing authorities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with those in tax department and the broader finance organization in order to facilitate information gathering and further understanding of company policies and activities.
  • Assist the management group with the preparation of any special projects related to corporate initiatives, legislative proposals, acquisition and/or divestiture modeling, and other ad hoc requests as necessary.

 

What we’re looking for:

Minimal qualifications:

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
  • 1-2 years of accounting, finance or tax experience required
  • Strong technology skills including proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP, HFM Smartview, Tableau and Microsoft Access preferred
