About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for a high energy individual who is passionate about campus recruiting to join our University Relations team supporting the hiring efforts of early in career talent. In this role, the University Relations Specialist will work closely with the Manager of University Relations and their regional counterparts to identify top intern talent for STEM related full-time positions. The University Relations Specialist will work closely with functional leads in our business divisions to review graduating intern talent for entry-level opportunities, as well as support hiring managers for all on-demand hiring in R&D, Operations, Quality, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs. This is an exciting opportunity to help Boston Scientific build upon our successful intern program by hiring talented and diverse STEM students into the company.


Your responsibilities will include:
⦁    Work with Functional Champions in R&D, Operations, Quality, Clinical, and Regulatory Affairs to identify top graduating interns to receive conversion offers at the conclusion of the summer program
⦁    Organize and deliver workshops to graduating interns on resume preparation and interviewing skills 
⦁    Serve as point of contact for graduating interns throughout their summer internship experience
⦁    Attend final candidate presentations and lead review sessions for all graduating interns with Functional
⦁    Champions to identify talent to receive conversion offers
⦁    Maintain contact with graduating interns, keep top talent informed of opportunities, and invite former interns to on-campus events to share and promote their experience
⦁    Maintain and engage candidate pipeline to provide a positive candidate experience
⦁    Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, source talent, and lead review sessions to select candidates to receive offers; extend and close candidates
⦁    Develop candidate pipelines using career website/database, job postings, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking, and former interns to support on-demand hiring needs
⦁    Manage all requisitions and postings and ensure timely updates within applicant tracking system
⦁    Attend assigned STEM focused Diversity conferences to build future talent pipelines and identify ready now talent for on-demand hiring needs
⦁    Participate in targeted career fairs and events as needed 
What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications:

⦁    Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related discipline
⦁    2-5 years’ experience in a TA/Recruiting environment, prior experience working in University Relations/Campus Recruiting or Talent Acquisition a plus
⦁    Passion for working with students and early career professionals
⦁    Strong customer service skills
⦁    Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels (i.e. students, hiring managers, executives)
⦁    Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
⦁    Strong attention to detail


There is a preference for this role to sit in MA or MN, but open to the possibility of being remote.
