ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play an integral role within Commercial Excellence and in collaboration with the cross functional marketing teams. This role is responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing Manager and Commercial Excellence team in supporting digital marketing content strategies that align with the strategic business goals and enhance the company’s brand presence and drive engagement across divisional and non-divisional functions.

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the execution of digital marketing and campaign strategies that align with strategic business goals, setting measurable objectives, and using KPIs to track progress. They support content creation, including email, web and social media ensuring consistent branding and audience engagement. 

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates closely with various departments such as Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Digital Producers, IT, Sales, Customer Care, DICE, Corporate Accounts and QARA. They also work with local, regional, and global key stakeholders, when required. This collaboration ensures the alignment and execution of the digital marketing initiatives that support the organization’s strategic objectives.

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

 

Assist in Strategic Execution: support the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing teams in executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns across various platforms including email, social media, web and PPC campaigns.
 

Content Creation & Management: collaborate to create high-quality, compelling and engaging content for email marketing, social media channels, websites, videos, infographs and other digital platforms that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Support PSST approval and design of non-divisional content. Manage and maintain content calendar schedule to ensure consistent delivery of content and timely execution of campaigns.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with primary stakeholders in Commercial Excellence, Digital Producers, Marketing and QARA
  • Secondary stakeholders: IT, Sales, Customer Care, DICE and Corporate Accounts to ensure the successful implementation of strategic digital marketing campaigns 
  • Engage with local, regional, and global key stakeholders to ensure digital marketing initiatives are aligned with business needs at all levels
  • Leverages regional and global best practices and capabilities. 

 

Analytics & Reporting: monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and assist in preparing reports with actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
 

Agile Project Management:

  • Utilise agile project management techniques to identify, communicate, and implement user requirements
  • Facilitate regular sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business needs
  • Track and communicate project progress, ensuring transparency and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Marketing Cloud and QSM: project manage the divisional email campaigns with Marketing and the Digital Producers

 

Social Media Support: assist in scheduling, posting, and monitoring content for corporate across social media platforms, while helping to engage with the online community to build brand presence
 

Support Website Updates: work closely with the team to update and maintain website content, ensuring a strong user experience and conversion optimisation.
 

Continuous Improvement: conduct research and stay updated with the latest industry trends in digital marketing, target audience and competitors and contribute ideas for innovative future campaigns and strategies to ensure non-divisional content is relevant and impactful.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

Essential

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in digital marketing.
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing Tools: basic knowledge of digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, META Ads, Google Ads, email marketing tools, and content management systems.
  • Content Creation: strong communication skills and a flair for creative content writing
  • Analytical Skills: ability to analyse data, identify trends, and contribute insights to optimise digital marketing efforts.
  • Organisational Skills: ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.
