ABOUT THE ROLE
The core objective of this role is to provide administrative support to divisional sales and marketing team, including but not limited to, preparing correspondence, reports, conference materials and presentations as well as arranging travel and being involved in project work.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE REPONSIBLE FOR?
Event Coordination: including venue and catering coordination, logistics, event costing and record keeping. Attendance at events may be required.
Sponsorship Coordination: ensures documentation is completed prior to internal & external events, and in line with company policy; maintains timely communication with key stakeholders.
Sales & Marketing Material Coordination: order & distribute brochures, demos and sales aids to sales team as required.
Travel Coordination: book flights, accommodation and car hire as required for divisional team.
Administration Support: completion of purchase orders and payment requests, reception relief (roster based), sales reporting as required; management of team’s mail and courier requirements.
Pricing: point of contact for customer pricing and order requests and the ability to redirect as required, maintenance of pricing lists.
Record Keeping: maintains both manual and automated records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential statistics and prepares reports and analysis.
Customer Support: serves as a point of contact for our customers, providing information on matters of moderate importance to the organization and may be of a sensitive nature.

 

SKILLS & KEY COMPETENICES

 

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast paced corporate environment
  • Preferable experience within a marketing / sales team or an interest in marketing
  • Able to work autonomously and manage own tasks to completion within specified timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and proven ability to multi task
  • Flexible with working hours and the able to attend weekend events as required
  • Makes decisions using independent judgment under only general guidelines
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office 365 / Office 2010
