ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The core objective of the role of Product Manager – Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) is to support the Marketing Manager and Business Unit leader to achieve the divisions strategic goals. The Product Manager - CRM is responsible for the end-to-end product life cycle management of their allocated portfolio to help drive business growth through focused marketing plans, market/competitive analysis and the development of marketing tactics to ensure our products meet the needs of our customers and achieve our business goals in coordination with the sales and marketing organisation. 

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?


Planning and Analysis: 

  • Franchise/product responsibility for developing competitive strategy and product analysis by performing regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities and make informed decisions on product/portfolio optimisation.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with FP&A partner to conduct financial analysis to assess the viability and profitability of product initiatives and how any profit/loss is impacted by consignment, rebates, contracts.
  • Work with marketing manager to develop and maintain franchise marketing budget (including programs, promotion, advertising, etc.)

 

Product / Market Management: 

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that is aligned to business objectives.
  • End to end product life cycle management, from launch through growth, maturity and decline, including regulatory, supply chain, reimbursement and product training.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
  • Create compelling sales collaterals, product education, and marketing tools for sales enablement, working with global marketing partners where needed.
  • Defines and executes professional conference strategies and tactics for franchise/products.
  • Develops creative approaches to market both new and existing products.

 

Market Development: 

  • Identify industry and clinical trends through active engagement with customers to gather detailed insights that can inform product strategies for maximum results.
  • Supports field execution of marketing programs through active presence in the field, including educational programs, working with entire Electrophysiology team. 
  • Develop and implement customer journey maps to identify and address pain points throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Identify “Value beyond the device” opportunities and tactics and implement in conjunction with sales teams, corporate accounts and BSC leadership.
  • Work with HEGA team in creating reimbursement strategies.
  • Partner with the Rhythm Management Market Development Specialist in relation to all market development strategies for your portfolio.
     

Building and Maintaining Relationships: 

  • Identifies and develops relationships with external key customers and partners to understand their needs, challenges, and feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop internal support structure and relationships with all members of the Electrophysiology and wider Rhythm Management team and internal stakeholders including clinical, regulatory, demand planning. 
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key product owners regionally and globally including but not limited to Marketing, Medical Education and Demand Planning.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Knowledge of the medical device market
  • Previous commercial acumen experience within the healthcare industry
  • Previous sales or marketing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • CRM experience and knowledge highly regarded.
  • Previous brand management experience in building and maintaining a brand is highly regarded
  • Product launch knowledge is highly regarded
  • Previous digital marketing experience is highly regarded
  • Previous experience using Salesforce and Tableau is desirable
  • Product Management knowledge in CRM is highly regarded  
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Degree qualified, preferably in Marketing, Health Sciences or Engineering highly regarded.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and running Physician training and education, including peer to peer type events is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience as a team player with a winning attitude.
  • Medical device marketing experience including leading new product launches and the different elements needed for gold standard launches.
  • An individual who is a self-starter and has the willingness to learn.
