ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As the Senior FP&A Analyst you will collaborate closely with the business units to provide financial insights and support decision-making. This is a true business partner role, requiring strong technical capabilities and a demonstrated ability to advise and influence leaders to facilitate well-informed decisions. This is a full-time position, reporting to the FP&A Manager ANZ. 

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

 

  • Building relationships with business stakeholders to become a trusted financial advisor who provides financial expertise and guidance on investment decisions, cost management, pricing strategies, and other financial matters.
  • Leading the divisional budgeting and forecasting process by providing insights into revenue trends, cost drivers, and potential risks and opportunities.
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and working with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to understand business needs and ensure financial strategies support organisational objectives.
  • Preparing and explaining financial models to provide detailed analysis on business performance and operating efficiencies and leverage financial insights to provide recommendations to Business Unit Leaders
  • Identifying financial risks within the business area and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. 
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies to safeguard the organisation's financial health.
  • Enhancing financial knowledge and skills in the commercial unit by conducting frequent training and information sessions.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. 
  • CA/CPA Qualified. 
  • Advanced Excel Skills and Strong Analytical Skills. 
  • 5 years minimum experience in similar technical / systems oriented Business Analyst role – desirable. 
  • Initiative and ability to work well within a fast-paced organization often under tight deadlines. 
  • Project management and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Self-starter/autonomous and pro-active. 
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently and collaboratively as part of the Finance team. 
  • Experience with Tableau & Hyperion – desirable. 
  • A “change” advocate who thrives working in a dynamic and changing environment.
