ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Manager - Watchman (WM) – ANZ is responsible for driving commercial excellence, market expansion and team development across Australia and New Zealand. This role leads a high-performing sales and clinical team, sets strategic direction, and champions cross-functional collaboration to deliver value to patients, clinicians, and procurement partners.
You will shape and execute sales strategy, oversee field execution, and foster talent development, while aligning with broader Rhythm Solutions and Boston Scientific goals. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader with a strong commercial mindset, deep healthcare expertise, and a passion for innovation, strategy and change enablement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the WM commercial and marketing team, including direct reports who themselves may manage teams, ensuring capability development, talent retention and a strong performance-driven culture across ANZ
- Foster a robust leadership culture and ensure organisational success
- Cultivate a performance-driven, inclusive culture focused on patient outcomes and professional growth
Strategy
- Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with financial goals and market opportunities, identifying growth opportunities and optimizing business performance
- Develop national sales and incentive plans to drive above-market growth
- Partner with Marketing and Corporate Accounts on market-driven, value-based pricing strategies
- Lead annual Strategic Planning process
Customer & Market Development
- Lead marketing to drive brand strategy, campaigns, digital presence, and performance analysis for growth.
- Lead development of commercial strategies for clinicians, procurement stakeholders, and health systems
- Champion value-based selling approaches, leveraging service and data insights
- Drive field readiness and market penetration for new product launches
Operational & Financial Management
- National P&L responsibility, including revenue, margin and inventory performance
- Lead Development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Manage national territory sales plans and incentive programs
- Oversee consigned and rep-managed inventory, ensuring availability and compliance
Cross-Functional & Strategic Initiatives
- Partner with commercial excellence, corporate accounts, HEGA, regulatory and supply chain teams to execute operational plans
- Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decision-making
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all commercial activities meet regulatory, legal and ethical standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency and integrity.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science or related field
- Proven commercial experience in medical devices or healthcare, with leadership responsibility
- Marketing experience in a growth market
- Proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Experience in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Knowledge of the ANZ healthcare systems and regulatory landscape
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and successful execution of national sales strategies highly regarded
