ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Supply Chain Partner ANZ serves as conduit between Commercial Operations and BSC Business Units in coordinating the ANZ Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process, performing demand planning, product launch & exit plans, driving inventory optimisation initiatives, and managing supply execution as required to meet customer needs & financial business objectives.
WHAT WILL YOU BE REPONSIBLE FOR?
- Lead the ANZ iteration of the global Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process as the key cross-functional integrated business planning process. Align efforts across operations, finance, regulatory, marketing and sales teams, and within the BSC quality framework, in support of strategic and financial goals.
- Effectively partner with Business Units and other key functional stakeholders to understand strategic imperatives in support of commercial ambitions and supply execution across your portfolio.
- Proactively analyse inventory, sales & scrap data to provide recommendations to Business Units enabling working capital, inventory reserves & inventory charges improvements.
- Partner with Commercial Operations leadership, Business Units and global SI&OP workstreams in maturing the ANZ SI&OP process, including and not limited to: PLC management; Demand Planning/Demand Management; Inventory Planning (working capital, EEO); Financial Plan reconciliation to demand plans; and, escalating key decisions for ANZ SI&OP Executive Review.
- Represent ANZ & Asia Pacific in global supply chain forums and global systems & process improvement projects.
- Lead cross functional Value Improvement projects (VI) to drive consistent improvement in service and financial outcomes.
- Presents a solid foundational understanding of both functional and commercial Key Performance Indicators, creates and executes a realistic plan towards delivering on objectives, through robust analysis addressing service level and cost improvement.
- Prepare and maintain monthly Demand Plans including consignment inventory requirements, strategic stock planning, new product introductions and end-of-life phases, in the Rapid Response supply chain planning system.Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years in a similar role with exposure to leading an IBP process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain planning and inventory management including statistical forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence key stakeholders without direct authority.
- Proficient Excel skills with experience working with and analysing large data sets
- Ability to solve problems and work independently and collaboratively with local and remote teams.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and high-quality output.
- Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment.
- A self-starter who has a desire to learn.
- Demonstrated focus on innovative thinking.
- Strong time management skills.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and a desire to take on new responsibilities and challenges.
