Account Manager, Coronary Therapies (Lombardia)

Location: based preferably in the South area of Lombardia (Milan, Lodi or Pavia).

 

About the Role:

The Account Manager (AM) manages the end-to-end sales process for specific customer segments by identifying commercial opportunities, driving account planning, and executing regional and local sales strategies. The role focuses on business growth, expanding BSC’s market share, securing product positioning, and ensuring market penetration. Commercial activities target both clinical and economic stakeholders to deliver sustainable results. 

 

Location: with an ideal base in the Southern area of Lombardia (preferably Milan, Lodi or Pavia), and the territory to be covered will be Lombardia

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the annual strategic plan by providing RSM, BUM, and Marketing with detailed business intelligence (market trends, opportunities, competitive landscape, and stakeholder insights). 
  • Understand account needs and expectations; develop detailed account plans, support RSM in Top Tier 1 accounts and manage Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 accounts autonomously. 
  • Design and execute sales strategies and activities aligned with account plans and regional targets. 
  • Ensure clinical support in the operating room during procedures when required, alongside commercial responsibilities. 

 

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Develop stakeholder maps, define touchpoints, and maintain accurate account information in systems. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with economic stakeholders and clinical KOLs, promoting health economics arguments and engaging decision-makers on commercial programs and solutions. 
  • Support clinical colleagues in identifying and managing sales opportunities arising from clinical support; perform clinical selling with RSM guidance. 
  • Provide clinical support in the operating room during procedures as part of the overall commercial and clinical activity. 
  • Gather insights on tenders and negotiation opportunities; plan and prepare proposals based on account understanding. Participate in negotiations and collaborate with the Tender Office on documentation. 
  • Develop deal models, support RSMs in Top Tier 1 accounts, and create IPAT. 
  • Conduct regular customer outreach, perform sales visits, and identify new opportunities to drive growth. 
  • Provide periodic updates during QBRs and leverage reporting tools to ensure effective sales execution. 

 

 

Travel & Work Conditions:

  • Extensive travel across assigned geographies; overnight stays may be required. 
  • Field-based position with flexibility in working hours. 

  

  

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in clinical commercial sales and case support for medical devices. 
  • Education: Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.  
  • Preferred: Experience in coronary therapy, cardiovascular or hemodynamics 
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly. 
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and excellent communication skills. 
  • Comfortable working remotely and traveling extensively as required.

  • Expected Salary: € 52.100 - € 68.400 (base salary).
