Clinical Sales Representative, TAVI (based in Milan)

Location: in the Milan area, on a remote working schedule.

 

About the Role:

We are looking for a Clinical Sales Representative, based in the Milan area, to support the TAVI business, within our New Cardio division, who will cover the whole region of Lombardia.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Italian, has a degree in biomedical engineering (or similar degrees) and has already a short experience in a field role. We are looking for someone proactive, willing to learn and to work in team. Flexibility is fundamental, as the person will travel a lot.

The purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day technical/application and education support, coordination and training, develop the business within the Structural Heart (SH) division.  

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Education/Training Role: educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters relating to the company TAVI and SH products by conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one training sessions, in-service education programs, and seminars and/or outside symposiums. Provide training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel.
  • Clinical Specialist: support in TAVI / SH procedures (sterile field), playing a key role in the device preparation, as well as providing technical support and device and system troubleshooting as needed.
  • Device Management: monitor inventory levels, initiate logistics, i.e. shipments and movement tracking of products. Monitor the levels and expiration dates of products in the field. Coordinate communication between internal and external customers to facilitate the material management.
  • Selling Role: collaborate with the Account Manager on business strategy and tactics at the customer level. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the competition’s strengths and weaknesses.

 

What are we looking for in you:

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar.
  • Preferred previous experience in field role in sales or clinical support in Cardiology (1-2 years).
  • Motivation, marketing and sales mindset, goal-oriented and willing to propose your ideas or find alternative solutions.
  • Good interpersonal and relational skills.
  • Ability to travel for business in a defined area, and open to flexibility and a dynamic working environment.
  • High English level would be a plus.
  • Based in the Milan area.
