This position has the option to be located in one of the Boston Scientific EMEA office hubs (Milan or Paris as a preference)

 

The Corporate Communication Manager will effectively support the Communication Team during Sr.Manager maternity leave.  She/he will ensure regular reporting of team activities (monthly, quarterly) supervise budget and act as a reference point for the team. The Manager will coordinate leadership communication activities (President and VP )and support corporate manager in executing internal and leadership communications. The person will follow directly the EDUCARE communication activities, any activities of planning and reporting realated to AOP 2019, and support the corporate communication manager in specific communications projects according to the needs.

Partner closely with the BS&CE VP, communications team members, regionally and globally, as well as marketing, branding and digital teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • ensure team reporting, budget supervision and planning activities
  • Support leadership communication (plan and execute and coordinate various channel owners)
  • Be part of leadership team and collaborate with corporate communications manager and tradeshows & events manager
  • Ensure coordination of activities within extended team members (GEM; HS&P, country teams)

     

Qualifications:

 

The successful candidate will be accomplished communications professional with broad experience within a corporate or agency environment, preferably in health care, with demonstrated knowledge of corporate communications, internal employees communication and media relations, including strategy, content development and stakeholders management

 

  • Degree in communications or related discipline
  • Fluency in English, other European languages highly desirable
  • Broad experience of managing PR campaigns, ideally pan-European/regional
  • Experience of healthcare industry preferred either agency or corporate setting (eg MedTech, pharma, hospital, PR agency specialized in health)
  • Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated success at working under deadlines with excellent follow-through skills
  • Located at one of our hub offices (Paris, France; Milan Italy preferred)
  • 10-20% travel is anticipated with this role, mainly within European region to major congresses and Boston Scientific offices.
