Field Inventory & Capital Equipment Representative (Defined-Term Contract)

Location: based in our offices in Milan, on a hybrid working schedule (3 days/week in the office + 2 days/week working from home).
About the role:
The Field Inventory & Capital Equipment Representative provides operational and administrative support across Field Inventory Management (FIM), Warehouse and Capital Equipment (CE) teams. This role ensures accurate inventory control, effective order and return management, and system integrity across SAP and Salesforce platforms.
This is a defined-term contract position with duration until end of 2026.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support Field Inventory Management (FIM) activities, including reconciliation of inventory counts and control of expired stock.
- Monitor and manage materials pending invoicing to ensure accurate financial processing.
- Perform inventory adjustments and material transfers in SAP.
- Handle complaints related to inventory and material discrepancies.
- Provide warehouse team support, including supplier communication and coordination.
- Register and process product returns in SAP and monitor return closure activities.
- Support Capital Equipment (CE) order management using the Solution Quotation tool.
- Monitor contracts approaching expiration and support renewal tracking.
- Manage capital equipment return processes.
- Support departmental administrative tasks, including retrieval and distribution of delivery notes, preparation of lists and verification of materials in internal systems.
- Maintain and update customer database records.
- Generate SAP listings and reports, including inventory adjustments, returns, warehouse changes and report extractions.
- Perform data registration and follow-up actions in Salesforce.
What are we looking for in you:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, order management or related operational support
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting capital equipment operations is nice to have.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is nice to have.
