Product Manager, Interventional Oncology & Embolization Italy

About the role:
As Product Manager for Peripheral Interventions (Interventional Oncology & Embolization), you will lead both product management and marketing operations for the IO&E franchise in Italy. You will play a key role in driving business growth through strategic planning, digital and traditional marketing campaigns, cross-functional collaboration, and market intelligence. Additionally, you will be responsible for Field Clinical Specialists (FCS) team, develop training frameworks, and implement marketing best practices in alignment with international and local teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Product management and market development:
• Support strategic planning and execution of marketing activities in alignment with business goals.
• Develop and implement post-market strategies and physician education programs.
• Identify market trends and emerging opportunities to drive competitive positioning.
• Execute product launch strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Design and deliver tailored customer journeys and sales tools.
• Lead downstream marketing and professional conference planning.
• Identify and implement digital marketing strategies.
Marketing operations:
• Establish structured marketing planning and follow-up processes.
• Leverage Salesforce Sales Cloud to manage all marketing and sales activity tracking.
• Analyze marketing performance and drive improvements in planning and execution.
Business intelligence and competitive strategy:
• Lead market and competitor analysis initiatives to inform business decisions.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to monitor performance and field activity.
• Provide actionable insights to guide pricing, training, and go-to-market plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to respond to market shifts proactively.
Training and development:
• Lead training programs for FCS and the sales network focused on clinical excellence and customer engagement.
• Create learning frameworks that include in-field coaching, workshops, and peer learning.
• Ensure training aligns with product updates and strategic priorities.
• Strengthen clinical conversations by integrating data-driven insights.
Stakeholder and relationship management:
• Build strong relationships with KOLs, sales teams, and international marketing stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal teams including market research, clinical, finance, and regulatory.
• Champion Boston Scientific’s values and brand in all professional interactions.
Financial and strategic planning:
• Track financial performance and develop action plans to meet revenue targets.
• Manage the franchise budget, including programs, promotions, and advertising.
• Analyze product P&L impact related to pricing, contracts, and consignment planning.
Quality and compliance:
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Promote a quality-driven culture across all external and internal marketing interactions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to manage complaint processes effectively.
What are we looking for in you:
• Academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing or sales within the medical devices industry.
• Strong coaching skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation skills.
• Ability to manage conflict and influence stakeholders.
• Skilled in prioritization and decision-making under ambiguity.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
