About the role:
The Digital Product Manager will be instrumental in helping BSC evolve our commercial model by leveraging new ways of working with digital tools, enhanced data & analytics, and emerging sales channels (e.g. virtual/inside sales). The person in this position will play a critical role in leading the global digital sales enablement strategy and driving development and adoption of new, innovative sales tools and processes.
Key activities will include launching and scaling commercial programs with revolutionary sales tools, building and testing new digital products with user research, partnering with global sales teams to drive implementation and adoption, tracking effectiveness and impact of programs, and leading upstream digital product development. This role will also support needs assessments, tech evaluations, process improvement, change management, ongoing tool support & enhancements, etc.
This individual will work closely with leadership, sales, sales operations, global marketing teams, & IT across all BSC divisions and regions to help change the way our commercial teams interact with customers in a digital world. It is essential that this individual demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and partner with both internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities will include
 • Digital Product Ownership: Define and articulate product vision and strategy, build business models to support new initiatives, and collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to understand needs. Establish product roadmap(s) in collaboration with stakeholders and technology owners, track measurable objectives for the team, manage backlog, and de-risk wherever possible. 
• Voice of Customer (VOC) Conduct VOC to inform strategy, technology decisions, and design features/roadmap. Impact digital product direction based on data, customer and business stakeholder feedback. Hold team meetings and help plan and facilitate stakeholder and end-user meetings/interviews 
• Commercial Strategy and Execution: Support pilot programs, commercial launches, and the implementation of various use cases to maximize the impact to our global businesses. Track and communicate measurable metrics that demonstrate commercial value.
 • UX design: Incorporate agile, lean, and User Centered Design methodologies across product development, implementation, and ongoing operations. Responsible for product development prioritization and decisions on releases in close partnership with end users, IT, and business units. 
• Marketing Messaging: Support development of value propositions and key marketing messages around new tools and technologies both for customer and sales team adoption 
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Create relationships with external partners and internal commercial counterparts; identify key champions internally and externally; develop support structure and relationship with sales representatives and sales management. Align with partners on marketing strategy, messages, tools and content, customer targeting, sales training, and technology development priorities.
 • Quality: Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality, legal, and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.

Minimum Qualifications:

 • BS or BA in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
 • 5+ years successful related business/marketing work experience.
 • Prior digital technology experience (upstream & downstream), including assessment, deployment, and optimization of solutions 
• Strong analytic problem-solver who has resolved complex issues in creative ways 
• Track record of working in agile development teams prioritizing user stories and conducting user research to test and understand needs • Proven ability to work and influence across a matrixed environment. Strong communicator and collaboration who partners with peers and internal and external customers. 
• Experience establishing and tracking key performance metrics and business objectives

Preferred Qualifications:
 • Medical device and product launch experience.
 • MBA
