About the role:
The Digital Production Manager serves as the production lead for BSC’s business units, acting as the primary coordinator and communicator for a wide range of digital-based projects. The candidate selected for this role will lead a team of Digital Producers to execute on best-in-class digital marketing programs to support BSC’s key business objectives. Well qualified individuals possess deep technical knowledge in the function and will be expected to train and coach team members in addition to delivering on production requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive the execution of requests across the Product Management, Creative, and Technology teams.
- Ensure team members are trained to and following established process and digital production and BSC brand standards.
- Identify, define and coordinate production requirements and resources in support of digital campaigns.
- Work with team to ensure production timelines are adhered to including providing production support to projects as required.
- Coach and develop direct reports, including creating professional development plans in collaboration with each team member.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, both internal and external, serving as primary liaison between divisional business partners and corporate teams for digital production needs.
- Communicate proactively to all levels of management and all stakeholders, managing expectations, timelines and logistics.
- Identify, partner with, and manage appropriate resources (i.e., vendor relationships, other internal departments, etc.) to ensure that production plans meet objectives.
- Evaluate program impact and reassess objectives and outcomes, responsible for continuous improvement of the production plan.
- Remain current on industry standards, technologies, trends and best practices as related to responsibilities and communicate information to the organization. Constantly learning and trying new approaches and tools.
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g., federal/country and regulatory requirements).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a field related to digital production (marketing communications, journalism, web design, or other relevant area of study)
- Minimum of 5 years in a digital production role.
- Experience training, coaching or mentoring others.
- Experience leading projects and delegating tasks.
- Extensive experience working with complex content management systems for building and maintaining websites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Keen ability to identify and utilize current tech stack to support business needs.
- Excellent understanding of web design methods and best practices.
- Self-directed with excellent organizational skills.
- Results oriented with a premium on accurate, timely execution.
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
