This position is a 12-month co-op/new grad placement beginning January 2025.

 

About the role
The Logistics Coordinator will assist the Supply Chain department with overseeing logistics systems, process support and design of the reporting applications based on business requirements. This position will provide operational and administrative support to the Supply Chain department.
 

Your responsibilities will include:
    · Leading customs data collection and ERP data entry.
    · Negotiate competitive freight rates and schedules.
    · Generate monthly rate, volumes, and analysis reports.
    · Coordinate all quality and improvement-related initiatives.
    · Audit and report e-training on time completion.
    · Receive and respond to updates and concerns regarding shipment status.
    · Assist in shipping incident and damage investigations and determine causes and corrective actions.
    · Complete customs paperwork for shipments destined outside of Canada.
    · Work with supply chain leaders to build inbound and outbound logistical model capabilities
    · Recommend process enhancements to improve service and efficiencies when possible
    · Other duties as required.
 

Required qualifications:
    · Actively enrolled in a degree in Engineering or Business or a recent graduate from an Engineering or Business degree
    · Strong business analytical skills
    · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and accurate typing and data entry skills
    · Able to communicate and interact effectively with various internal stakeholders
    · Able to effectively present information and professionally respond to questions from management, employees and customers
    · Strong ability to prioritize in demanding environments with tight deadlines
