About the role:
The Account Executive II / Sales Representative II will be responsible for driving sales growth of core and strategic products across key accounts in Nuevo León and Chihuahua. This role requires building strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), generating demand, supporting clinical procedures, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate business growth.
The ideal candidate combines commercial excellence, strong execution, and healthcare industry knowledge, particularly within medical devices, while maintaining a customer-centric approach and full ownership of the sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and support clinical procedures in assigned accounts.
- Drive demand generation activities and identify business growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders.
- Understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Effectively manage sales activities, procedures, opportunities, and account planning through company systems.
- Increase account penetration and average ticket size by identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Analyze sales KPIs and develop action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Create and execute account strategies to maximize territory performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop educational and strategic events that strengthen Boston Scientific's positioning.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle, ensuring follow-up and accountability across internal stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of excellence in execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Required qualifications: --- MUST ---
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Business, Sales, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven commercial experience in the medical device industry.
- Experience managing sales activities in public and/or private hospitals.
- Experience in hemodynamics, vascular cardiology, peripheral interventions, or related specialties.
- Strong track record of achieving sales objectives and managing sales KPIs.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong commercial planning and execution capabilities.
- Agile learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new products, processes, and market dynamics.
- Proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.
- Availability to attend clinical procedures and travel within the territory as needed.
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency, with ability to participate in trainings and review materials in English.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Located in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

✓ Experience conducting physician education activities, workshops, or clinical training programs.
✓ Previous experience in Peripheral Interventions products and therapies.
✓ Knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce, although prior expertise is not required.
✓ Familiarity with healthcare sales processes and hospital procurement environments.
✓ Experience working in highly competitive healthcare markets.
✓ Exposure to business intelligence or reporting tools such as Tableau is a plus.
✓ Experience working with strategic account planning and territory management.
