About the role:

The Technician IC will provide clinical and procedural support for Interventional Cardiology therapies, partnering closely with physicians, healthcare professionals and commercial teams to ensure excellent patient care and optimal product utilization.

This position is based in Monterrey and supports mainly hospitals within the metropolitan area, while occasionally providing support across the Northern territory, including border states and selected locations such as Sinaloa and Durango. The role combines clinical support, customer relationship management, inventory coordination and administrative follow-up, while offering a structured development path toward Specialist and commercial positions.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner, highly adaptable, customer-oriented and motivated to build a career in the medical device industry.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and clinical support during Interventional Cardiology procedures in Hemodynamics.
  • Attend and support cases in hospitals, ensuring proper product utilization and procedural assistance.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the division’s products, strategic therapies and clinical procedures.
  • Execute territory plans and support the achievement of sales objectives alongside the commercial team.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales representatives, distributors and other business partners.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, nurses, buyers, hospital staff and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular visits to current and prospective customers.
  • Support product launches and account development initiatives.
  • Manage materials, equipment requests, remissions and other operational and administrative activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support logistics coordination when required.
  • Analyze market dynamics and competitive activity through reports and account information.
  • Participate in internal training and professional development programs.
  • Provide support primarily in Monterrey while maintaining flexibility for occasional travel within the Northern region.
  • Demonstrate urgency, responsiveness and commitment to customer needs and procedural requirements.

 

Required qualifications: --- MUST ---

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Orthopedic Technology, Healthcare-related Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Residency in Monterrey or the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey.
  • Full schedule availability, including flexibility to support procedures outside traditional business hours, weekends, or holidays when required.
  • Interest in developing a career within the medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • English proficiency sufficient to understand product information, training materials and professional communication.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build long-term professional relationships.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Sense of urgency and adaptability in dynamic clinical environments.
  • Fast learning capability and willingness to participate in ongoing training.
  • Availability for occasional travel within the Northern territory (approximately 10–15% of the time).

✓ Previous exposure to hospitals, clinical environments or healthcare settings.

✓ Experience supporting medical procedures or medical device therapies.

✓ Sales or customer-facing experience.

✓ Negotiation and influencing skills.

✓ Knowledge of Hemodynamics, Interventional Cardiology or related specialties.

✓ Experience managing inventory, materials or healthcare logistics processes.

✓ Interest in pursuing future growth opportunities within Specialist, Clinical, or Commercial career paths.

✓ Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

✓ Experience interacting with physicians, nurses and healthcare decision-makers.
