Clinical Specialist in Cardiac Rhythm Management Based in Montreal
About the role
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be at the forefront of Boston Scientific's mission, providing high-end clinical support during clinics and implants of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Devices such as Pacemakers, Transvenous Defibrillators and Subcutaneous. You will also have to collaborate with our dynamic team to ensure successful product adoption across hospitals in Quebec. Your responsibilities will include:
- Upon request, provide expert clinical support on the full CRM portfolio, focusing on implants and clinic support.
- Act as the primary contact for Boston Scientific customers in the territory, offering on-site support.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to achieve sales targets and manage the defined territory strategically.
- Conduct education and training sessions on CRM devices for healthcare professionals and clinical center personnel.
- Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and targeted customers, ensuring high-quality clinical support.
- Educating customers on product merits through presentations and demonstrations.
- Providing commercial support, troubleshooting, and product support.
- Supporting clinical research and participating in case reviews and observations.
- Meeting with clients to identify clinical needs and discussing how our products can address them.
- Developing business relationships with hospital personnel and key decision makers.
- Responding to customer needs and complaints, ensuring optimal solutions.
- Fostering strong relationships with sales and marketing colleagues.
- Traveling within Quebec for product promotion and clinical support.
- Other duties as required.
Required qualifications:
- University degree or Electrophysiology specialty training
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Rhythm Management and/or Electrophysiology in a hospital setting to achieve certification rapidly for clinical support of the entire CRM.
- Medical product development or device support experience.
- Willingness to work in Electrophysiology laboratory and operating room environment.
- Ability to travel, including overnight and/or weekends as needed, within Quebec, Canada and occasional international travel (approximately 30% of time).
- Bilingual in English & French.
- Driver’s license in good standing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in pacemaker and defibrillator clinic as well as in EP laboratory .
- Experience in EP with catheter ablation, particularly for atrial fibrillation.

Vos responsabilités comprendront:
- Selon les besoins de couverture, fournir un support clinique expert sur l'ensemble du portefeuille CRM, en se concentrant sur les implants et le support clinique.
- Agir en tant que contact principal pour les clients de Boston Scientific sur le territoire, en offrant une assistance sur site.
- Collaborer avec les gestionnaires de territoire pour atteindre les objectifs de ventes et gérer le territoire défini de manière stratégique.
- Organiser des sessions d'éducation et de formation sur les appareils CRM pour les professionnels de la santé et le personnel des centres cliniques.

- Éduquer les clients sur les mérites des produits à travers des présentations et des démonstrations.
- Fournir un support commercial, un dépannage et un support produit.
- Soutenir la recherche clinique et participer aux revues de cas et aux observations.
- Rencontrer les clients pour identifier les besoins cliniques et discuter de la manière dont nos produits peuvent y répondre.
- Développer des relations d'affaires avec le personnel hospitalier et les principaux décideurs.
- Répondre aux besoins et aux réclamations des clients, en garantissant des solutions optimales.
- Favoriser des relations solides avec les collègues des ventes et du marketing.

Qualifications requises:
- Diplôme universitaire ou formation technique en électrophysiologie
- Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience clinique en gestion du rythme et en électrophysiologie en milieu hospitalier pour pouvoir être certifié rapidement pour le support clinique de l'ensemble du portefeuille CRM.
- Expérience en développement de produits médicaux ou en support d'appareils.
- Volonté de travailler dans des environnements de laboratoire d’électrophysiologie et de salle d'opération.
- Capacité à voyager, y compris la nuit et/ou les fins de semaine selon les besoins, au Québec, au Canada et à l'étranger occasionnellement (environ 30% du temps).
- Bilingue en français et anglaise.
- Permis de conduire en règle.
Qualifications souhaitées:
- Expérience en clinique de stimulateurs cardiaques et défibrillateurs ainsi qu'en laboratoire EP.
- Expérience en EP avec ablation par cathéter, notamment pour la fibrillation auriculaire pourrait être un atout.
