About the role
As an R&D Test Specialist Intern, you will play a key role in advancing the development of cutting-edge cardiovascular devices that improve patient outcomes. In this position, you will support product testing and verification activities that ensure safety, reliability, and effectiveness of life-saving technologies. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a regulated medical device environment while directly contributing to innovations that transform cardiovascular care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Beta testing software systems to aid the development team and ensure a high-quality product release.
- Recording and tracking defects in a bug tracking system.
- Executing manual and automated test cases to verify that designs meet requirements.
- Documenting and maintaining detailed test results.
- Conducting engineering and design performance tests.
- Analyzing test results, detecting issues, and tracking root causes.
- Developing engineering and design verification test reports.
- Interpreting company policies and procedures to resolve issues related to biomedical applications.
Required qualifications:
- Undergraduate (or working towards) degree in electrical/biomedical engineering or a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative approach to work, with confidence to influence people at all levels.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Technical knowledge of testing concepts for electromechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
- Knowledge of ISO 14971.

Vos responsabilités comprendront :
- Effectuer des tests bêta de systèmes logiciels pour soutenir l’équipe de développement et assurer la mise en marché d’un produit de haute qualité.
- Enregistrer et suivre les anomalies dans un système de suivi de bogues.
- Exécuter des cas d’essais manuels et automatisés afin de vérifier que les conceptions répondent aux exigences.
- Documenter et maintenir des résultats d’essais détaillés.
- Réaliser des tests de performance en ingénierie et en conception.
- Analyser les résultats des essais, détecter les problèmes et en suivre les causes profondes.
- Rédiger des rapports de vérification d’ingénierie et de conception.
- Interpréter les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise afin de résoudre des problèmes liés aux applications biomédicales.
Qualifications requises :
- Étudiant(e) de premier cycle (ou en voie d’obtenir) un diplôme en génie électrique, biomédical ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Approche analytique et quantitative du travail, avec la confiance nécessaire pour influencer à tous les niveaux.
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles, en communication et en collaboration.
- Solides aptitudes en documentation.
