About the role :

The candidate will perform business analysis tasks related to the development and support of solutions in order to meet the business requirements of Boston Scientific. Looking for a Systems Administrator to support and deliver centralized system administration tasks for its Cadency suite of tools that are utilized globally to perform, manage and control financial accounting business activities.

 

Your Responsibilities will include :

The role will require consistent delivery of high-quality services and support to internal and external customers world-wide - with a focus on continuous improvement in this vital area. If you like a fast-paced environment where you will gain international experience, then this role is for you.

  • Make continuous improvement recommendations and subsequently lead, oversee and influence others in adopting changes to the global AtR tools & associated system administration & business processes - including impact & risk analysis,  management and overall communication
  • Analyze data & processes to support recommendations for improvements and to drive decision-making
  • Enable routine, standardized, high-quality management processes around knowledge management, business continuity disaster recovery (BCDR) planning and execution, system support and governance documentation 
  • Analyze and process requests for GBS employee system & license access
  • Compile monthly GBS management materials including task / project execution status tracking and performance management metrics
  • Ownership & management communication alerts related to application management for the Global ATR workflow tool
  • Coordinate and manage system & business process-related documentation associated with the Global ATR workflow tool
  • Manage & update core training materials for Finance personnel and customers related to the global ATR workflow tool and/or associated business activities
  • Perform routine reports and analytics to produce monthly operational scorecards
  • Perform central internal control activities for Global ATR tool
  • Liaise with external vendors & BSC IT organization for system-related issues as necessary

  • 2-3 years’ experience of continuous improvement & change management associated with business systems in a Finance environment is essential
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Math, or Business Intelligence 
  • Direct administration experience with Cadency and/or Blackline preferred
  • Excellent with MS Suite tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Solid communicator, both oral and written, in English
  • Experience working with virtual, global, cross-functional teams across all levels of organization
  • Analytical mindset and comfortable with data analysis
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet timelines
  • Problem solver with critical thinking skills
  • Must be very organized, thorough, and attentive to details
  • A strong process mindset and proven ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to be resourceful and self-sufficient – creating solutions/recommendations with limited direction from supervisor
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Holds oneself accountable to results
  • IT System Data Mining experience a plus
  • Project Management experience is a plus
  • IT systems integration experience is a plus
