About the Role:

 

The  Engineer will be a part of the Boston Scientific APAC R&D organization and supports Global Business Unit teams in evaluation of complex implantable medical device systems by analyzing system requirements, user needs and perform system design verification and validation activities. Provide support for other System Design activities including current systems engineering principles and technologies, thereby ensuring practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. Complete assigned work elements to meet expedite timely completion of departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate goals and priorities.

 

Your responsibilties will include:

 

  • Be a member of a team that designs, implements, and tests web based remote monitoring systems and medical device software.
  • Write automated integration and unit tests.
  • Interact with business analysts, SMEs and QA team members.
  • Participate in code reviews with peers.

 

What we're looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent (BE, B Tech, MCA, MSc).
  • 5 or more years of project development experience with at least 3 or more in web based applications and Rest APIs.
  • Prior experience in medical domain adds more value.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of the following frameworks
    • Spring
    • Hibernate
    • ReactJs
    • Geb/Spock
    • JUnit
  • Independent contributor who requires less or little supervision

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developer with Java, Java Script, Oracle, Groovy.
  • Understanding of requirements, architecture, design, design patterns, OOPs.
