Key Responsibilities

 

 

 
  • Participate in integration project to ensure end to end process transition, creating/reviewing DTP, process stabilization.
  • Act as change management resource to support business for change management communication
  • Review/monitor day to day expense claims, payables and accounts reconciliation transactions for PTP
  • Perform review of journals and accounts reconciliation transactions for P2P team.
  • Mange & deliver daily performance as per agreed SLA matrix.
  • Make recommendation for continuous process improvement
  • Handling the review of accounts reconciliations.
  • Handling Statutory Audit schedules related to its area of working.
  • Assist GBS manager for process stabilization.
  • Assist manager to identify and evaluate new service opportunities
  • Assist manager to coach team members.
  • Assist team members in meeting monthly close deadlines.
  • Preparation of Monthly Dashboard, SLA/KPI with commentary.
  • Works directly with the Country Finance managers and project management team to ensure services are integrated and performed at the SLA level as well as met SOX control requirements
  • Works with Boston Scientific global for process improvement projects
  • Knowledge of Tax, payments, Concur, T&E process is must
  • Work with local finance team on day to day issue resolution.

Qualification

 
  • University Degree/Post graduation  in accountancy or equivalent
  • > 12 +years’ experience in similar roles or shared service environment.
  • Experience in end to end PTP process.
  • Extremely strong fundamentals in Accounting
  • Prior experience of handling Statutory Audits.
  • Expert in MS-Office & all major tools in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • >5 years of experience on ERP tool – SAP.
  • Experience for project participation will be a plus
  • Good communication skills both written & verbal
  • Smart and pick up quickly. Hands on approach with ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment
  • Good self-starter and can work under pressure
  • Analytical, detailed oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency to complete projects & meet deadlines
  • Good team player and willing to take additional responsibilities.
  • Shared Services Experience: Service management, operational metrics and scorecards, and experience within a progressive global shared services operating model (preferred).  
  • Lean Experience: Preferably exposure or involvement in Kaizen facilitation and execution process mapping, and ability to identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement ideas and initiatives.  Lean Green or Black Belt is an asset.
  • Language: Fluent in English. Additional languages are an asset.
  • Travel: Occasional, limited travel to other BSC sites may be required.

  • Performance improvement metrics (e.g. reduced cycle time, improved working capital) and business case realization.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Client feedback regarding project quality, timeliness, effectiveness and the SI Leader’s effectiveness in fulfilling job responsibilities and solving problems, etc.
  • Timeliness and quality of end products (e.g., final documents)
