About the Role

Are you ready to make an impact? Join our team as a Co-op Student and gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting organization, and operational support. This 4-month contract opportunity is ideal for an engineering student eager to develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. You’ll play a key role in organizing and managing our team’s reporting portfolio, streamlining processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Operation reporting development is in scope as it relates to supply chain and customer care.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

-Supporting the creation of frameworks or hierarchies for reporting processes and data sources.

-Organizing and documenting current reporting requirements, existing reports, and data source repositories.

- Assisting Engineering and operations in the development of new reports or visualizations as needed for investigations or continuous improvement projects. - Contributing to projects related to customer care or supply chain operations.

- Collaborating with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

- Managing a portfolio of reporting capabilities within the stakeholders teams to ensure clarity and accessibility.

- Providing support for the development and testing of our bespoke Operational Execution System (OES) with extended ERP-like functionalities with focus on database integrity and new report verifications.

 

Required qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in an engineering or science degree program.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or (similar) and spreadsheets, with strong data analysis skills.

- Knowledge of Tableau software or a willingness to learn and work with the platform and common integrations.

- Ability to process data from multiple sources and create actionable insights.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Experience using AI tools for learning and analytics is an asset.

 

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with organizing and managing reporting processes or data repositories.

- Familiarity with customer care or supply chain operations.

- Interest in developing technical skills in data visualization and reporting tools.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The anticipated compensation and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. 

 

Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
