The Supply Chain & Finance Operations Intern will support day‑to‑day accounts payable, procurement, and logistics activities. This role works closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate invoice processing, purchase order creation, and timely shipment coordination. The intern will also serve as a key operational contact for administrative activities.
Please note that this is a 4-month contract opportunity from April to August 2026.
Your responsibilities will include:
Logistics & Shipping
- Act as site shipper for Federal Express (FedEx) shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation and coordination of outgoing packages
- Serve as the primary FedEx operational contact, responding to shipment inquiries and resolving basic shipping issues
- Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Accounts Payable (Supply Chain & Services)
- Code and enter invoices into SAP accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate payment status and remittance details to selected vendors via email
- Submit required documentation to support new vendor setup in SAP
- Respond to vendor inquiries related to invoices, payments, and discrepancies
Purchase Order (PO) Support
- Assist with purchase order creation using provided information in MyBuy
- Submit documentation required for new vendor creation
- Distribute PO forms to vendors and internal stakeholders
- Address vendor questions related to purchase orders and documentation
General Administrative Support
- Maintain organized electronic documentation related to vendors, invoices, and POs
- Support process improvements related to invoice handling, procurement, and logistics
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related program
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to or basic working knowledge of SAP (MM, PP, or AP-related processes)
- Understanding of procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations
- Experience handling invoices, vendor communication, or inventory documentation
- Comfortable working with structured processes and financial data

Maximum Salary: $24/hour

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
