Payment Specialist II
 

 

The Payment Specialist II position is open to working remote or in a Boston Scientific office.

 

About the Role:

 

The Payment Specialist at Boston Scientific will support the TheraSphere product and Customer Care organization. The Payment Specialist will administer payment process for working with a variety of internal stakeholders and external customers. Ensures payments are processed timely and accurately to support the business. Develop a standardized process for TheraSphere Purchase Orders to allow for an efficient, timely and accurate receipt of POs, minimizing the burden on the customer service team, customers, and field sales team.


 

Your Responsibilities Include:
 

  • Coordinate and obtain PO with Customer when required, Update PO details in TOP & SAP and release billing block. 
  • Monthly reporting to Compensation Team and Internal Teams.
  • Deliver monthly reporting on “PO Pending”, highlighting trends and risks.
  • Maintain the tracking of sites requiring extra invoices and / or SAP order confirmations.
  • Provide sites with copies of invoices and confirmations based on shipping records as needed.
  • Update maintenance of TOP Customers for the hospital Finance members requiring emailed copies of the TOP “enhanced” shipping confirmation – expected August 2021.
  • Support the Collections group with updating invoices due to invalid PO provided by sites. (collaborate with Collections, customers, field sales team as needed to support collection efforts).
  • As required, make entries into Talia to provide electronic invoices.
  • Follow up with customers to resolve invalid Pos.
  • General support of Reps with questions, reporting, feedback as needed.
  • Be the one point of contact for all things TheraSphere PO!

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ Experience working in a customer service position, invoice management and related experience.
  • Desired knowledge: SAP, knowledge banking system, knowledge reconciling bank accounts, knowledge seats accounting.
  • Experience working with Excel and Microsoft Office programs.


 

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Technical degree in accounting or Business Administration or related field preferred.
