About the Role:
 


The Strategic Planning Manager II at Boston Scientific will represent Global Supply Chain Strategy in leading strategic Supply Chain projects and supporting business partners to enable growth and drive execution in alignment with BSC Corporate Objectives. Drive Global Supply Chain Strategy throughout the network.

 

Your Responsibilities Include:
 

  • Lead site selection decisions for new technologies and new product launches
  • Support the implementation of the “Delivering Excellence” roadmap
  • Connect with Regional and divisional partners to ensure stakeholder requirements are represented as part of our E2E global supply chain strategy
  • Develop and improve our strategic processes to ensure the network is best position for future growth
  • Develop / Support Strategy review process and communication
  • Develop tools and metrics to tack global supply chain performance on executing our network strategy
  • Facilitate Make/Buy decisions, in partnership with Global Sourcing and the global supply chain sites which enable our strategy
  • Lead analysis and recommendations associated with global supply chain network optimization opportunity assessments
  • Partner and collaborate with BSC sites on global supply chain related projects and data.  Analyse collected data to arrive at patterns/trends to drive strategic decisions.
  • Identify critical investment areas for BSC global supply chain
  • Develop content for the global supply chain Strategy Playbook and provide critical strategy inputs to Strat Plan.
  • Identify best practices for global supply chain outside of BSC and outside of med devices; use those best practices to drive step-function improvement in BSC’s ability to Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Service



What We Are Looking For:
 

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or other Technical Degree
  • 7+ years’ experience working with functional areas across divisions/sites
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Strong Project Management skills; organized and can plan/work towards a deadline
  • English level:  90-94% Fluency verbal and written
  • Knowledge in FDA regulated industry
  • Domestic and international travel required 25-40%

     

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Master’s degree / MBA desirable
