Purpose Statement

This position's main contribution is to provide support to the function in order to drive competitive advantage and contribute to business results by improving the function's efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data entry administrator verifies information, operate data entry in SAP and ensure documents are in compliance with GDP requirements.
  • Process Legal Status Data, Source List Data and Safety Net information, in additional perform variety of other forms of documents by resolving inconsistencies and reviewing data for errors using standard data entry procedures.
  • Requesting further information for documents that are deemed incomplete.
  • Verifying, correcting, deleting unnecessary data, or combining data from several sources before entering into SAP
  • Entering information into specific SAP field to control distribution of product or complete forms from recorded material.
  • Keeping records of tasks, files and proofread reports
  • Checking completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product
  • Address any non-conformances and update the system as required.
  • Support other projects/project teams on setting up data in SAP.
  • Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.
  • May design processes to enhance work flow.
  • Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
  • Provide data and information to other functions on processes and procedures, as requested.
  • May assist professional and technical staff with special projects.
  • Coordinate, organize and/or lead administrative tasks in support of functional area

Skills Needed

  • SAP – must have minimum of 1-2 year experience
  • Able populate date in SAP from automated and or manual file systems
  • Must have experience in operating Microsoft office 2010 and SAP
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills required
  • Ability to apply logical thinking
  • Decision making skills essential
  • Must deliver work within the estimated time frame
  • Excellent in computer, typing an analytical skills
  • Quick Test Pro – knowledge recommended

Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines

Knowledge : Complete knowledge of the job.  Applies thorough knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices, and a complete understanding of fundamentals in a functional area, and working knowledge of other related disciplines. In-depth expertise in company’s core hardware and software package (i.e. creating formulas and macros and working with multiple worksheets in Excel; producing advanced screen shows in PowerPoint; inserting graphics, charts and tables in Word; creating forms, queries and reports in Access).

Cognitive Skills : Performs mostly non-routine assignments requiring basic interpretation of established procedures. Applies strong business writing, proofreading and editing skills (i.e. independently generates correspondence with only brief content outline from supervisor) when completing work.
Job Skills : Performs general administrative duties to include photocopying, coordinating meetings/appointments, file maintenance, typing, faxing, ordering/maintaining supplies, arranging travel, preparing and/or sorting mail. Creates letters, memos, reports, presentations, and other materials. Collects data and prepares reports. Answers functional questions from internal customers; viewed as a key functional resource. Anticipates and coordinates assignments during the course of the year and organizes own schedules, and that of others, to meet deadlines.

Supervision Received : Works under general supervision with general instructions given on new assignments.

Consequence of Errors : Errors difficult to detect and normally result in moderate expenditures to resolve.

Contacts : Serves as a point of contact for internal and external customers. Maintains contacts and networks, domestically and/or internationally across BSC. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function or the department or which may be of sensitive nature.
