Demand Planner, APAC Supply Chain

Purpose Statement:
The role of Demand Planner, coordinates Regional Demand Planning and Supply Execution activities for Asia Pacific, representing APAC Country Planning stakeholders in Global Supply Chain forums, delivering to support customer needs, financial objectives and service level objectives. Acts as primary point-of-contact for divisions and business processes assigned to their portfolio, advocating for APAC needs in scarce supply allocation situations, and in business process and tool development, refinement and harmonization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees inventory, service and forecast accuracy performance across APAC markets, representing their division’s performance drivers in global forums.
- Partners with Regional Marketing & Global Supply Chain on: New Product Introduction and launch cadence across APAC markets; scarce supply allocation and execution; Network Optimization and changes of flow (with particular focus on new product flow through Penang); Product Rationalization strategy and execution; Financial Reconciliation, Acquisition & SFMD Integration, and value improvement opportunities.
- Provides direction to the Country Demand Planners for their portfolio on:
- Product Allocation; Product Rationalization strategy and execution; NPL forecasting strategy, execution and follow up; BO / Scarce inventory communication; International Inventory management aspects, Field Inventory Optimization and other business process as required to support APAC Regional Supply Chain strategic goals.
- Coordinates & facilitates the monthly SI&OP Process across APAC.
- Supports Penang DC with Regional Divisional Planning representation and oversight as it pertains to Penang GDC specific business processes.
- Demonstrate support of the BSC quality policy by executing processes and practices in compliance with BSC quality compliance directives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering, with 4–5+ years of core supply chain planning experience across APAC markets within an MNC environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in advanced Excel and data analytics.
- Experience with SAP (ECC/S4 HANA), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and Kinaxis is highly preferred.
- Exposure to program/project management and ability to analyze and improve business processes. Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse and regional stakeholders effectively.
- Self-driven, eager to learn, innovative, and adaptable to change in a dynamic environment.
- The individual should demonstrated innovation thinking and a change advocate
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
