Principal HR Transformation Analyst, APAC (2 Years Contract)

Purpose Statement

We are seeking a true change champion, someone energized by transformation, who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about driving meaningful, lasting impact across the organization.  The Principal Analyst, HR Transformation APAC will be based either in one these APAC locations and will lead both the Organization & Role Design workstream and; Process Harmonization & Simplification workstream within the APAC HR transformation program, with end‑to‑end accountability for organization design and ways of working across Centres of Excellence, HR Business Partners and HR Operations. The role is responsible for driving alignment, leading project delivery, leading change management and owning evidence of success. It shapes the regional operating model and capability blueprint, orchestrates change across countries and sites, and embeds a scalable, customer centric HR service that aligns APAC HR with our global HR framework.

 

Responsibilities:

1) Enterprise Operating Model & Organization Design

  • Lead the project team to design and implement the HR operating model across COEs, HRBPs, and HR Operations, aligned to the global blueprint.
  • Develop current state and future state organization structures, span of control, new ways of working and RACI across HR functions.

 

2) Enterprise Process Harmonization and Simplification

  • Lead regional end-to-end process harmonization aligned with the global HR operating model.
  • Drive alignment and adoption across geographies by engaging with relevant stakeholders.

 

3) Change Leadership, Adoption & Benefits Realization

  • Partner with Senior Program Manager to co-lead and own end‑to‑end change management for the HR transformation, modelling desired leadership behaviours and mindsets for core team members, and ensuring consistent, credible, and people‑centric change leadership across all workstreams.
  • Accountable for defining, tracking, and delivering agreed project KPIs across financials, adoption, and performance domains, ensuring outcomes are achieved within approved scope and timelines.

 

4) Enterprise Technology & Automation Enablers

  • Lead identification of automation opportunities across HR processes, ensuring standardization, reduced manual effort, and stronger integration with the global HR systems roadmap, partnering with Global HR Technology team in leveraging enterprise technologies and platforms.

 

5) Project Management

  • Partner with the Senior Program Manager to co‑lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of HR transformation workstreams, ensuring disciplined management of scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables to achieve intended outcomes.

 

6) Additional Responsibilities

  • Responsible and/or accountable for any additional duties or areas of responsibility as assigned by the Director, HR Transformation.

 

 

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR/Business/Organization Development.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP), Change Management (Prosci), Lean Six Sigma, CIPD/SHRM is added advantage 
  • Require at least 10–12+ years of work experience with relevant HR experience in complex, multi‑geography multi-national corporation environment
  • Expertise in driving regional transformation program from operating model, organizational design methods and HR processes with demonstrated success leading HR transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to assess complex issues, understand business drivers and trade‑offs, and apply insights to shape effective HR transformation decisions and outcomes.
  • Proven capability to lead and align diverse stakeholder groups around a common transformation agenda, providing clear direction, resolving misalignment, and driving teams toward successful delivery of project outcomes and KPIs.
  • Strong change management skill to lead senior stakeholder management based on data-driven decision making.
  • Working knowledge of HR technology and automation.
