Role Purpose

 

Set and define Connected Workplace Strategy to align real estate & workplace strategy to support and enable the APAC regional business strategy. Look at bold and innovative ways to use and manage our facilities to achieve the goals of

  • Delivering a best in class employee experience; Create an environment where employees do their best work
  • Active location strategy: Agreed location strategy exists to guide our investment decisions, deliver financial returns and enable business continuity
  • Strengthen customer centricity: Leverage our facilities and their technologies in how we engage, interact, train and innovate with our customers.
  • Digitally enabled workplace: Technology is used to improve employees' ability to do their job by collaborating, communicating and connecting with others
  • Optimize facility management and design: Collaborative, safe and appropriately managed workspaces support the new ways of working
  • Also as part of the global workplace strategy team in 2021 employee work modes needs to be implemented for the regions.

 

Directly reporting to the APAC PMO. The successful project manager will be responsible for project deliverables which includes:

  • Co-ordinating the definition of scope of the project life cycle. Develops realizable business case for project. Ensures benefits are realized.
  • Enable a pre-defined project mythology to successful drive positive change.
  • Structuring project and ensures formal transparency and governance is put in place for appropriate stakeholder groups.
  • Plan each project phase, track execution and lead change management
  • Breaks the scope into manageable deliverables, time bound project plan and tracks to completion.
  • Identify stakeholders, organize project team and engage stakeholders across the region to drive desired change
  • Drive process improvement (simplifying, automation, leverage scale) & operational excellence across multiple ASEAN functions (marketing, finance, HR, IT, etc)
  • Develop and execute future state of the Moonshot Portfolio inclusive of existing and new workstreams as applicable

 

This role reports to the PMO functionally but is heavily partnered with Global Enterprise Excellence and Global Facilities team:

 

  • Establishes and communicates a clear vision for the project charter.
  • Develops and translates business strategy into project goals and measurable objectives (critical success factors) to support Moonshot portfolio.
  • Address business needs, identify and implement new & innovative solutions.
  • Works with sub work stream leads to identify process and policy improvement opportunities and champions a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct As-is assessment, gaps identification/ where do we want to get to/ how to get there, execute to-be state
  • Builds and maintains relationships throughout the organization, encouraging cross-divisional alignment, good communication and business transformation, facilitating cultural change

 

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a background in formal Project Management, at least 10 years of experience, with team management experience.
  • Demonstrated Operational Excellence (Lean/Sigma) experience with any formal accreditation a bonus.
  • Demonstrated Project mgt skills with formal accreditation a bonus e.g. PMI – PMBOK
  • Experience leading projects in digital sales and marketing a bonus.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of reporting & planning systems, processes, business requirements. Collaborative and able to manage complexities, engage various stakeholders and recommend solutions while driving change. 
  • Keen interest / experience in identifying improvement opportunities, challenging status quo, driving functional excellence
  • Ability to deal with complexities, engaging stakeholders, driving change.
  • Accomplishes results through professional specialist employees or subordinate managers and supervisors who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
  • Provides direction and monitors progress toward departmental goals; monitors costs of projects and of human and material resources within a department or unit; monitors company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability; monitors external environment in area of technical or professional responsibility.
