Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

Purpose :

Senior Analyst, Operational Excellence will be responsible for serving E2E supply chain project of process optimization and platform integration. 

Key responsibilities

•  Lead and participate in supporting high-impact and long-range strategic projects, application transformation and business process optimization & harmonization.
• Manage the delivery of assigned scope of the project, end-to-end while applying the project management methodologies.
• Identify business process and solution for implementation including design, development and implementation of supply chain strategies, models, processes, change management, business intelligence and tools to support business growth and requirements.
• Address areas of risk through the creation of actions plans, status updates & escalation to provide and implement solutions.
• Create and maintain user requirement gathering and product backlog documentation to describe the product features and articulate the flow of business processes.
• Build strategic relationship with internal and external stakeholders, driving cross-functional communication and alignment throughout the project life cycle in order to deliver the assigned projects successfully and effectively.

Role requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Operations Management or applicable field required. MBA is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience with project management in supply chain management, especially in process standardization & improvement while coordinating cross-functional business units and/or multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience of managing complex matrixed organizational structures and demonstrated capability in collaborating and influencing across such an organization.
• Functional knowledge of Supply Chain processes (e.g. inventory management and planning) must have.
• Experience in ERP system (e.g. SAP) is a distinct advantage.
• Analytical, problem solving and continuous improvement mindset (e.g. experience in Lean / Six Sigma)
• Proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Language: Fluent in English and other languages are a plus
• Preferred location: Penang in Malaysia (Batu Kawan)
