The Watchman Territory Manager is a key contributor to Boston Scientific’s mission to transform stroke prevention for patients with atrial fibrillation. This position combines strategic commercial planning and execution with hands-on clinical support, driving adoption of the Watchman device and Access Solutions across hospitals in the territory. You’ll work closely with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and hospital stakeholders to ensure both commercial success and procedural excellence.  The successful TM will collaborate closely with their broader BSC Rhythm Solutions (CRM, EP, WM) partners as well as functional partners to deliver customer value.

 

This role is based in Western Australia with travel as required to South Australia and reports directly into the Sales Manager – Watchman - ANZ. 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve revenue targets and ensure sustainable market growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing accounts while identifying and cultivating new opportunities.
  • Partner with the broader Rhythm Solutions team to drive customer training, engagement, and sales initiatives.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of territory dynamics, competitive activity, and emerging customer needs.
  • Lead or support tender submissions, pricing negotiations, and compliance with hospital procurement policies.
  • Manage reporting, CRM updates (Salesforce), stock validations, and territory analytics.
  • Represent Boston Scientific at key meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Clinical Support & Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted technical expert, providing comprehensive procedural support for Watchman LAAC and Access Solutions.
  • Attend Watchman implant cases (in-person or virtually), offering real-time guidance to physicians and clinical teams.
  • Train healthcare professionals on procedural techniques (Interventional Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, and EchoCardiologist) on device usage, imaging techniques, and post-market best practices.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments and hospital networks to support optimal therapy delivery and awareness.
  • Ensure timely documentation of clinical activities, including case reports and medical data collection.
  • Resolve clinical and technical challenges by collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Continuously expand clinical knowledge through internal training and ongoing learning.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in science, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to absorb complex technical information and apply this knowledge in the field.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication.
  • 3–5+ years in medical device sales or clinical support, ideally in cardiology, electrophysiology.or ultrasound (echo cardiography)
  • Demonstrated success in both sales execution and procedural product support.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and digital engagement platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, training, and communication skills; building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
