Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and talented intern to join our Demand Planning team at Boston Scientific. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain and demand planning within a dynamic and innovative healthcare devices company. The selected candidate will actively contribute to real business challenges from day one, supporting inventory optimization, data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is ideal for a student with strong analytical and communication skills, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to impactful projects in a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Face real-life situations in a dynamic healthcare devices company.
• Work on real business tasks from Day 1 (e.g., spare parts planning).
• Contribute to the preparation and production of proposals and reports using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
• Take responsibility for Inventory Management: seek opportunities to optimize stock levels, reduce excess, and maintain a healthy balance.
• Interact and collaborate with cross-functional areas, regional teams, global planners, global support centers, and internal customers.
• Conduct oneself as a full-time member of the Supply Chain area by adhering to Boston Scientific’s rules and regulations, maintaining professionalism, and respecting confidentiality and compliance policies.
• Develop knowledge about assigned responsibilities, business processes, and operational issues, as well as Boston Scientific’s management practices and company-specific challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an advanced university student in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Intermediate to upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work with data, reports, and statistics.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence tools, such as ChatGPT or similar technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, dashboards, or other data visualization tools.
• General understanding of demand planning, inventory optimization, or supply chain processes.
• Interest in process improvement, emerging technologies, and continuous professional development.
