About the role: 

This position is responsible for indirect procurement transactions in the EMEA region and any other applicable region. The operational procurement analysts cooperate closely with local entities as well as sourcing.

The position’s scope includes processing Purchase Requests, procurement-related helpdesk activities, and reviewing and resolving invoice reconciliation items for purchase order-related invoices. In this role you will execute proper methodology for purchasing decisions, ensuring minimal exceptions, proper documentation, and adherence to policies.

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing purchase requisitions:

• Review purchase requisitions to ensure compliance
• Providing guidance to end users during the requisitioning process:  systemic and company policy related

• Purchase Order lifecycle management

• Manages changed requisitions or closes POs if no longer needed
• Manages PO changes: Upon supplier/user request to amend POs, follows up with user/supplier to determine feasibility; changes/modifies POs if needed. If no resolution can be achieved escalates to team lead and other responsible persons using standard procedures
  Managing open purchase orders and timely receipt and invoicing of goods and services

• Partner with Receiving, Accounts Payable, and others as necessary to resolve goods receipts, invoice errors, or other related issues
• Negotiate favorable payment terms with suppliers
• Other Ad hoc or recurring assignments as the needs of stakeholders evolve
    

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 1-2 years of progressive experience in finance or purchasing
• Working knowledge of procurement practices
• Good written and oral communication in English and min. B2 level of German
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric, service-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail coupled with analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with SAP and ARIBA is an asset
• Flexibility in adaptation to a fast-changing working environment
• Problem-solving skills and quality awareness
