The Internship Program is designed for advanced-level university students seeking practical experience and skill development in their field of study, as well as the opportunity to join a leading company in the medical device sector.
We offer the chance to work on real tasks within the company, providing valuable experience and the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional environment.
Intern Responsibilities:
- Accompany the EHS Engineer in conducting incident investigations and completing the required information in the designated applications (Cority and Safe Works App).
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and process purchases through the MyBuy system for regular BU supplies, Functional Areas, or Transfers that they are supporting.
- Upload weekly Business Unit rotations and follow up on approvals and any missing information.
- Send the weekly Business Unit safety status report email every Monday.
- Conduct GEMBA walks once per week in production areas together with the Core Team or vendors.
- Review the GCIBS platform and implement applicable ideas on the production floor.
- Attend weekly Business Unit meetings.
- Provide support during vacation or sick leave coverage for the assigned Business Unit engineer, accompanied by another engineer.
- Attend one Business Unit or Functional Area meeting per week (English proficiency required).
- Coordinate meetings, GEMBA walks, and meeting minutes with the EHS Champions assigned to the Business Unit or Functional Area.
- Track Safe Rally Program metrics for each Business Unit and coordinate recognition activities together with the responsible EHS Engineer.
- Prepare and deliver monthly safety moments for their assigned areas of responsibility.
- Follow up on actions related to the chemical storage cabinet standard.
- Conduct weekly follow-up on chair repair requests and status.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Active enrollment and at least 70% of their study plan completed
in a Bachelor's or Licentiate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, Environmental Health and Safety
- Fluency in English at a level of 60% is required, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- This temporary internship, lasting 6-12 months, requires university enrollment throughout the duration.
