May execute the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation of continuous improvement projects and new product programs that will require product/process validation and proper engineering documentation.
• Influences, guides, and manages internal/external resources to achieve critical program goals.
• Develops strategies and actively communicates them to and with component group to improve production yields, process and methods.
• Provides significant guidance and approval regarding technical strategies and approaches.
• Performs troubleshooting on new and existing products/process problems as related to design, material, or processes.
• Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments.
• Contributes to the development and monitoring of area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering 

• 5+ years in technical leadership roles, preferably in the medical device industry 

• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience 

• Track record of strong cross-functional collaboration, influence, and project management enabling highly effective project teams 

• Ability to communicate technical issues and risks transparently and concisely across all levels of the organization 
• Fluent in English and Spanish
