About the Role:

Manages Component engineering group in support of New Product, Continuous Improvement and manufacturing processes.

Your Responsibilities Include:

· Responsible for implementation of continuous improvement projects and new product programs that will require product/process validation and proper engineering documentation.

· Coordinates the development and procurement of manufacturing systems to assure components are manufactured effectively and in a manner consistent with all BSC and industry regulations. Confers with Operations and Quality Engineering management to determine feasibility and cost effectiveness.

· Influences, guides, and manages internal/external resources to achieve critical program goals.

· Develops strategies and actively communicates them to and with component group to improve production yields, process and methods.

· Provides significant guidance and approval regarding technical strategies and approaches.

· Determines appropriate staff levels, schedules and resources needed for all engineering projects.

· Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, etc).

· Implements a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, obtaining approval for changes, and coordinating the selection process with Human Resources.

· Contributes to the development and monitoring of area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending.

What We’re Looking For:

· Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical Industrial Maintenance, Business Administration or Equivalent or Related.

· At least 7 years of experience in similar position.

· English Level desired: 90-94%.

· Desired knowledge: Equipment Design & Machining; Tools (Statistics, Technical Manuals, Kaizen, Six Sigma), Problem solving methodologies, Regulatory industry management.
