About the role:

 

 

Responsible for the direct supervision of product analyst CMC personnel carrying out the objectives established by the Department Manager. Provides direction and guidance to exempt staff members, and our data system and Medical records customer service provider.  In this capacity this role evaluates performance of the service provider and direct reports.  For the direct reports this role supports career development activities. Oversees the CMC process, Assesing events and complaints for reportability and escalation.  Manages workload for CMC team, including field actions, standard production reports, ad-hoc reports. Works actively with Regulatory Affairs and Compliance to ensure compliance with the laws, regulations, and regulatory directives of all geographies that BSC does business in.

 

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

 

 

  • Implements a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, obtaining approval for changes, and coordinating the selection process with Human Resources.
  • Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, applying progressive disciplinary action as appropriate and conducting formal written and verbal performance reviews.
  • Monitors daily work operations and provides direction and guidance to lower-level supervisors, experienced exempt employees, or skilled nonexempt staff to achieve unit or project goals.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers, by meeting regularly, responding to requests and explaining procedures.
  • Interprets and executes policies that affect work processes and personnel within the assigned organizational unit.
  • Contributes to the development of operational policies and procedures that affect personnel within the assigned organizational unit.
  • Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations etc).
  • Monitors internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and newsletters, reading organizational literature, meeting with peers and reading departmental reports.
  • Contributes to the development and monitoring of  area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor or Licentiate’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Electronic, Biotechnology, Electromechanical Engineering, or related Health Field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in similar positions.
  • English Level desired: 80% - 90%.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
