About the role:

Works cross-functionally to lead process development of complex technologies on new products and ensures efficient and effective transfer of new product into production.

 

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on platform or derivative projects.
  • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.
  • Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM’s, Routers, FMEA’s, etc.)
  • Develops qualified production lines.
  • May supervise Technicians and Eng I in order to achieve projects goals.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Oversees development builds associated with the project using special work requests.
  • Writes and reviews validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts all aspects of technical reviews.
  • Provides Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.
  • Contributes ideas to or generates Intellectual Property submissions.
  • Trains and/or provides work direction to technicians and engineers and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation.
  • May serve as a core team member or extended team member on new product projects.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to execute technical and financial feasibility studies and/or implementation projects
  • Leverage local and global networks to deliver technical rationale to support, accelerate quality, business decisions or regulatory needs
  • Generate and/or lead value/process improvements, process characterization, statistical analysis or new technologies.
  • Lead, support or participate in communities of practice, technical review board and the likes, to challenge the status quo, make visible business risks, share best practices and/ or offer practical and more agile solutions solutions.
  • Coach and mentor others to make sure knowledge is transferable to enable long term success in the technical path.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • English Level desired:  80%.
  • Desirable knowledge in: Tools (Statistics, Technical Manuals, Kaizen, Six Sigma), Regulatory Industry management, DOE, Statistical and Experimental Analysis.
