Purpose Statement
Reviews and Proposes improvements to the Supply Chain Organization with regards to Demand Planning, Field Inventory Management, Customer Service and Logistics in order to align and improve communication with the International and Global Supply Chain community.
Purpose Statement
This role is a member of the APAC Supply Chain Logistic team and will lead logistics optimization and improvement projects (including Magellan (S4 Hana), Warehousing and Distribution etc) with functional global and country representatives along with other functional leads and stakeholders. The role will support the execution of project deliverables and drive change. Responsibility of project deliverables include:
- Be the regional logistics technology subject matter expert who provides related expertise on warehousing and distribution to countries while leveraging global network and scale for optimal logistics solutions
- Coordinate the definition of scope of the project life cycle, develop realizable project business case, ensure benefits are realize;
- Drive project, ensure formal transparency and governance is in place;
- Plan project phases, track execution and lead change management;
- Break scope into manageable deliverables, time-specific project plans and track to completion;
- Identify stakeholders, organize project team and engage stakeholders across the region to drive desired outcomes;
- Drive process improvement through simplification, automation, leverage scale; and operational excellence in logistics;
- Develop and execute future state of logistics projects
Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate a clear vision for regional logistics optimization projects.
- Develop and translate business strategy into project goals and measurable objectives (critical success factors) for APAC Supply Chain Logistics
- Address business needs, identify and implement new and innovative solutions
- Work with global, region, countries; internal and external stakeholders; and cross functional leads to identify process and resource improvement opportunities and champions a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct As-is assessment, gaps identification/where do we want to get to/how to get there and execute to-be state
- Utilize project management skills and methodologies to manage and implement projects relating to logistics and distribution. Establish plans, timelines and milestones, roles and resources.
- Familiarity with establishing business case and managing budget
- Ensure corporate policies and governance are followed.
- Provide updates to senior management and all stakeholders of progress at regular intervals via reports and meetings.
