Purpose
As a Level III Rapid Response Solutions Consultant in the GSC Planning COE, you will support the implementation and optimization of Kinaxis Rapid Response solutions. Under the guidance of more experienced team members, you will help translate supply chain management needs into effective technology solutions, contributing to the overall success of the Global Supply Chain Planning team. Your role will focus on learning and applying foundational skills in Kinaxis Rapid Response to ensure smooth project execution.

 


Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing Kinaxis Rapid Response solutions that address specific business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability.

  • Assist in Understanding Business Requirements, work with business users to gather requirements and understand their challenges. Support senior team members in developing strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Participate in Implementation, contribute to the configuration, customization, integration, and testing of Rapid Response solutions under the guidance of senior consultants. Help in managing smaller tasks and supporting project timelines.
  • Help prepare training materials and assist in conducting training sessions for end-users. Provide basic troubleshooting and support for Kinaxis Rapid Response users.
  • Stay Current with Platform Updates, learn about the latest features and industry trends related to Kinaxis Rapid Response. Participate in continuous learning to enhance personal skill set.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, including solution designs, process flows, and user manuals, as directed by the Sr GSC Planning COE Technical Manager II
  • Support in maintaining tasks, stories, epics, defects, and spikes in the JIRA tool. Assist in preparing weekly reports and update your JIRA items at least once per week
  • Participate on the Sprint planning session to commit JIRA items for the following quarter.
  • Adhere to the guidelines set by the Directors and Managers of the GSC Planning COE team and support their initiatives.

 

Qualifications Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, with exposure to Kinaxis Rapid Response.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Kinaxis Rapid Response and supply chain planning principles. Willingness to learn configuration, scripting, and integration skills.
  • Analytical Skills:  Basic problem-solving and analytical abilities. Eagerness to learn how to translate business requirements into solutions.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Certifications: Kinaxis Rapid Response as Contributor and Author.
     

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: APICS certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Exposure to the medical device or life sciences industry is a plus.
