Boston Scientific is seeking a Business Process Lead III to support and enhance business systems, warehouse systems and operational processes across Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain operations. This onsite-assigned position in Quincy, Massachusetts, partners closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Product teams, IT teams and vendors to improve system reliability, operational performance, compliance and the end-user experience.

This role is ideal for an individual who combines operational knowledge with business systems expertise and is looking to expand their impact through project leadership, requirements management, testing, reporting and process improvement. The position serves as a key liaison between business and technology teams, helping deliver solutions that support both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

 

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

This position follows an onsite work model and requires employees to work from the Quincy, Massachusetts, facility. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

● Serve as the business systems representative and functional owner for assigned warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing and quality processes.

● Support SAP, Manhattan and related warehouse technologies by analyzing issues, assessing business impact and driving sustainable solutions.

● Gather, analyze, document and manage business requirements for system enhancements, projects, process improvements and operational initiatives.

● Create, coordinate and execute testing activities, including test scripts, user acceptance testing and validation of business process and system changes.

● Lead or support small- to medium-sized projects, cross-functional workstreams, system enhancements and technology deployments.

● Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT teams, Product teams, vendors and business stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness and the end-user experience.

● Utilize a hands-on Go See approach to understand operational challenges, identify improvement opportunities and represent the voice of the end user.

● Develop process documentation, training materials, reports, dashboards and project communications to support operational excellence and business readiness.

● Develop, analyze and communicate department metrics, operational KPIs, system performance measures and reporting insights to support decision-making, prioritization and continuous improvement initiatives.

● Support SDLC, validation, CAPA, compliance and audit readiness activities within a regulated medical device environment.

 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations or a related field, or a minimum of 6 years' experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Systems or IT.

● Experience supporting business systems, warehouse systems, operational technologies or supply chain processes.

● Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting testing activities, validating system changes or participating in technology implementations.

● Experience leading discussions, supporting projects, collaborating across functions and resolving business process or operational issues.

● Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred qualifications:

● Experience supporting SAP, Manhattan or similar ERP/WMS platforms.

● Experience with warehouse technologies, including RF devices, automation, material handling systems, MDCS, Packsize or related solutions.

● Experience leading projects, system enhancements, process improvement initiatives or operational readiness activities.

● Experience with reporting, dashboards, Power BI, analytics or operational performance metrics.

● Experience working within a medical device, FDA-regulated or quality system environment.

● Experience supporting SDLC, validation, CAPA, compliance or audit readiness activities.

● Boston Scientific operations experience with demonstrated progression in leadership, training, systems, process improvement or site support roles, such as Business Process Lead, Warehouse Lead, Inventory Lead, Operations Coordinator, Quality Lead, Trainer, SME/Super User, Process Improvement Champion or System Implementation Participant.

● Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated continuous improvement experience.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
