About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced business analyst to help guide our organization into the future. This role is a hybrid project lead and business analyst.
We are looking for a candidate who is not just proficient, but passionate about developing, prioritizing, resourcing, and managing the site project portfolio at our Quincy Distribution Center. Your expertise in leveraging project management tools and best practices, and your ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, will be instrumental in our success.
 

Your responsibilities will include:
Project Lead:

  • Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools and by working with appropriate staff to understand the scope of effort. 
  • Prepares project plans, schedules, and budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and working with appropriate staff to understand the tasks necessary to complete the project.
  • Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans. 
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies (e.g., GSM). 
  • Assures project quality by using standard development methodologies. 
  • Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports and participating in departmental and customer status update meetings. 
  • Conducted project post-mortems and communicated lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

 

Business Analyst:

  • Partner with Stakeholders and IT to interpret business objectives and translate them into user stories and workable technology solutions.
  • Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through real-time data evaluation. Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Resolve technical issues, including diagnosis of the problem, recommendations for workarounds, and defect correction. 
  • Drive processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across SAP, Manhattan, and other supporting systems.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management, Operations, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions to define and implement end-to-end process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, execute, and document acceptance testing, end-to-end testing, report test results, bug reports, and drive resolution of defects.

 
Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of proven Business Process Analyst experience
  • 2+ years of Project Management or Process Improvement / Lean-related experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools, including Visio
  • SAP experience 
  • Adaptable to changing situations and priorities.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience generating and refining process documentation
  • Experience performing hands-on end-user support and testing

 
Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Supply Chain Logistics
  • Manhattan WMOS
  • SAP S4 HANA
  • CAPM or PMP Certification
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Product Owner Certification
  • Business Analyst Certification
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
