About this role:
Prepares Export documentation for all International shipments from Quincy. Assists other Boston Scientific locations with export shipments as needed. Responds to inquiries for Boston Scientific subsidiaries and independent dealers through telephone, fax, and email.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepares necessary export documentation to accompany shipments. Works with freight forwarders to schedule International Shipments. Prepares all necessary Export Documents for shipments from Quincy, Marlborough, and Natick and work with other Boston Scientific locations as needed. Works with distribution staff to coordinate International shipments. Works with Global Supply Chain Managers to allocate inventory for international orders. Works with Global Supply Chain Managers to allocate inventory for international orders. This may include running Stent Store inventory, confirming inventory for Distributor Orders, running XDock reports.
- Works with Freight Forwarders to insure proper pick up and delivery of products to the International locations. Ensures file maintenance of required documentation, running of reports to support International and Domestic shipments, understanding and executing Distribution software systems (Fedex Powership, SAP, KIVA, Intelligrated, and Worldlink), supports dock personnel as needed. Reports out weekly activity and identify/report out issues as they are identified.
- Works with International Finance personnel on credit hold issues. Works with Freight Forwarders and international locations to reduce overall Lead-Times. Works with Legal and International Marketing on new accounts. Interfaces with Engineers, R&D and manufacturing locations on special shipments of R&D and evaluation materials. Works with Marketing Communications on Shipments of Trade-show Materials.
- Performs back up Customer Service support for order entry as necessary
- Obtains Transportation Certifications as required
- Performs other duties and projects as required.
