Our Purpose:
This internship will support the manufacturing and industrial engineers at the Boston Scientific Quincy Distribution Center (DC) and Production Area. The Quincy DC team impacts over 22 million medical device products annually through processes known as kitting, postponement, rework, and labeling localization.

- Help support process automation initiatives through data collection, analysis, and validation
- Optimize distribution and manufacturing processes through layout design and waste reduction activities
- Support efficient staffing and scheduling based on projected volume and standard times
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management,and Biomedical Engineering
- Microsoft Office Suite Competency
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Proficiency in Autocad and/or Solidworks software(s)
- Must be able to commit to program dates May 27th – August 15th, 2025
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of LEAN and/or Six Sigma methodology
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools
- Medical Device Experience
- 1+ years of previous intern or co-op experience
- Interest in operations: supply chain, manufacturing, process improvement, and more
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a drive to learn independently, at times

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $43264 to $58448, plus variable compensation governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
