About the role:
To perform inspection activities at Incoming Inspection or the Returns Department on Finished Good Medical Devices. Responsible for inspecting and approving Incoming/Returned medical devices at the Quincy Distribution Center. Performs inspection activities/sorts of material that has been damaged during transportation. Processes physical and systematic scrap of damaged material. Proactively identifies and communicates quality issues and concerns. Must be able to communicate clearly and understand applicable Quality Control/Inspection Plans, Work Instructions, and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities


Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Perform inspection activities on products, in such categories as sterility inspection, incoming inspection, in-process inspection and returns inspection.
  • Complete data entry/results recording of inspection activities, including non-conforming material reports, when required.
  • Perform inspection/sort of material with self-evident shipping damage
  • Executes SAP or WM transactions related to inspection/return activities
  • SAP, WM, transactions related to Incoming Inspection and Return activities
  • Interface with site representatives for non-conforming issues
  • Executes the disposition of material through approved nonconforming reports, completion of scrap forms, or coordinating the return of material to the manufacturing plants.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

What we're looking for:
Minimum requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Quality Control/ Quality Assurance Function or equivalent, preferably in a regulated environment
  • SAP Experience 
  • WM Manhattan Experience
  • Ability to read/write English to complete paperwork and interpret procedures. 
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability and Flexibility to work overtime or cross-train to other functions when needed
  • Solid understanding of quality concepts and procedures to perform inspection
  • Data Entry experience
  • Must be detail-oriented and accurate
  • Must be able to lift boxes (up to 50lbs)
