About this role:
As part of the Global Center of Excellence Team, the Senior Project Lead manages the development and implementation of new processes and activities related to new product introductions, acquisitions and integrations as well as end-to-end logistics and distribution.  This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams in operations-based projects to include coordinating tasks and assigning deliverables to provide on-time solutions that meet business requirements and goals within budget. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving on cross-functional project teams to develop clear specifications and project direction; evaluate feasibility concepts and work with functional owners on steps needed to implement  
  • Collaborating with Core project team leads, members and operations to identify programs and BU strategies; establish milestones and monitor schedules
  • Managing projects, budgets and associated estimates; coordinate and develop project plans, schedules and deliverables
  • Directing project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans
  • Managing risks that impact project success; identify solutions to problems such as resource allocation or changes in project requirements
  • Coordinating activities for new process implementation and new product introduction including special handling, distribution and shipping coordination
  • Providing timely status reports and appropriate communication to site leadership and stakeholders
  • Consulting with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge and assisting or mentoring other project leaders in project management processes and techniques

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline OR 3 years of supply chain and distribution experience
  • Minimum 1yr of project management experience; ability to create process flows and proposals
  • Experience with MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience presenting data to leadership and stakeholders; strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams; ability to coach peers and drive change


Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • Minimum 2yrs managing supply chain and distribution projects
  • Minimum 2yrs of leadership experience; ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive change
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (ex. SAP, ERP, Oracle or similar)
  • Experience performing data analysis; tracking and interpreting data and trends
  • Customer service-oriented; ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with individuals on all levels
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently and as part of a team; process-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking analytical skills; results-driven
